Polyp ID please

Can anyone ID the brown polyps on the lower left of the coral in the pic.

If they are actually safe to keep, I will keep them. If a pest, they will be eradicated.

It's a pest. They will take over your tank.

Looks like Clove Polyps. Some consider them a pest but others buy them.

Are there any clavularia sp. that do not grown in a matt type fashion? These seem to be strung together by a string like section connecting them all. All the pics I can find online show clavularia ( the group clove pollups belong to) completely covering the area they infest. These seem to pop up every centimeter or so forming a web like structuer. I think I'm going to isolate them to a rock and grow then out to see what I get.

I have this same nuisance polyp growing in my tank. Any ideas how to remove it?

Yeah make a thick kalk paste and inject it on the polyps. It's treat then like aptaisia anemones . I kept mine but they havent gotten out of control.
