polypropylene or acrylic

Hi,
I recently purchased some materials from an orthotics company. There are 4 large sheets of plastic. Two are translucent white and are labeled polypropylene. THe other two are clear with a protective film on it. Although I'm not sure what they are. It is labeled Vivak 928.

I'm trying to make a sump, from what i read, the polypropylene won't work as it does not take glue very well.
Any idea how to find out if the other material is acrylic? Any test I can do?

thanks

I wouldn't recommend fabricating with anything other then domestic cell cast acrylic for a water retaining structure.

So it that basically telling me that Vivak is its own type of plastic? I assume both types of plastic I have are from there, but the clear one which looks like acrylic is actually not...?

That link does mention that the material can be solvent bonded with Weld-on 3, 4 or 7 and can be bonded to acrylic with Weld-on 55. I'd be tempted to experiment a little.

Vivak is a brand name for PETG plastic. Its not as clear as polycarbonate, which is not as clear as acrylic... Its also softer than acrylic.
