Hello everyone!
I have a bit of an odd question related to one of my maricultured acros. I've had it for ~2 weeks now, and it's already started to color up quite nicely- it was originally brown but the polyps are now turning a red/pink color and the base is turning green. However, on one side the polyps are slowly disappearing (but at the same time, the "flesh" on that area is still coloring up some more...??). I don't have any fish that could be nipping any polyps, so I'm somewhat lost. My alk is 8.5, my calcium is 440, and my salinity is 1.025. I gave it a dip in Revive and didn't find any pests... Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
