I have recently acquired s frag of Candy Apple Reds for some strange reason the polyps have never fully opened, I also got at the same time and from the same place some true PPE's and they are opening fully and reproducing. I have seen new polyps on the Candy Apple Reds also but even these new polyps will not open fully. I have 2-150w 10k mh and 2-96w 420nm&460mn actinic on a 55g tank the polyps are on the sand bed for the time being, all my other polyps that i have and there are quite a few are just fine any ideas as to why these ones will not open fully?????
