They are soo cool. These were actually taken with a Pentax Optio S5i... nothing fancy.

thanks Jesse... i wish i had a shot of him in a more natural setting but i rarely see him. do you see yours often?
that's a cool anemone yours is carrying, kind of luminescent...

not hard to keep, they wave their little anemonies around in the water and catch food particles.. IME their just rarely seen...:)

when i feed the tank i've seen some food particles get caught by his anemones but i've never really seen him eat...

He comes out a couple nights a week. I use one of those single-LED keychain flashlights to light him up and then snap away.

Mine eats whatever I happen to be feeding to my fish. He has even jumped onto my hand and ripped food from my fingers on more than one occasion. From what I understand, these guys are scavengers and use the anemones to collect their food.

cool!! sounds like yours has more personality than mine!!! :D
 
They actually use the anemones for protection mainly. They are quite shy most of the time and can become lost in anything other than a small tank. Great pics by the way!!
