Pom Pom Crabs

I have 2 in a 50g, I believe they're both females since i've seen them both w/ eggs and there's none other than those two. I'm guessing they just produce unfertilized eggs? Anyway, when they see eachother, the bigger one wants to beat up the littler one, but there's enough room for them to coexist. If you can tell what sex you have and try to get the opposite, it'd probably work better since it looks like you have nanos.

I've heard that they are fairly sociable, for crabs. I don't know if the males would fight, though. I've even heard that if one loses an anemone, its friend will split its anemone and give one half away.

Do these get along with other crabs and shrimp? I see these and find them quite interesting. I already have other crabs (particularly a rather large crab that I may have to give away if he threatens any more of my snails) so never really thought about getting one since I didn't know how they would get along.

Pom Pom crabs are relatively peaceful for crabs and would probably be killed by larger crabs like Mithrax, spider, or decorator crabs. I keep mine with a squat lobster, a zebra crab, and a porcelain anemone crab just fine. So stick with very peaceful crabs.
