Pom pom lost.

Saw my pom pom crab out in the open. Very rare sight indeed.. but she lost a pom pom also..

I do have alot of ricordae, but I doubt that would work with their size. Any possible way to replace anems?

If the crab still has one, it will possibly divide the remaining nem in half so each claw has one. They have been known to do this, but no guarantees, of course. Give it some time and see what happens.

They have also been known to pick up zoas, aptasia, even bristle worms. Anything that can soak food up really. But most likely it will split it's remaining nem.

I had an existing pom pom in my tank that was missing his nems, I added a second pom pom and within a day they both had two nems each. The newcomer gave one to the existing crab and they both split the one they had. If it still has one I wouldn't be surprised if shortly he will split it.
