I recently purchased a $250 dollar item from marine depot and installed it as directed in the manufacturers instructions using the check valve recomended by marine depot. The valve caused the whole setup to explode sending silica into my tank. when marine depot was contacted they responded by first acusing me of installing it incorectly. then told me to contact the manufacturer. if you are going to recomend an item make sure it works first.
