Hello I have a pair of butterfly pyramid fish. They are very cool with a lot of character. One of the fish developed pop eye. One of its eyes is super inflamed. I am not sure if this is trauma related. Very possible fish hit eye on live rock while swimming in between caves. Also possible that this is viral or bacterial. The fish has no issue seeing. It is able to avoid my attempts to net it. The fish is eating and swimming just fine.
Question to the group. Do you think what I describe is traumatic? It is only one eye. The fish is not lethargic( yet at least) It is eating and swimming the tank. My purple tang( the bully) of the tank chases it around stressing it out.
Not sure if there is anything I can do.
