I have been observing the pyramid with pop eye in my main tank for several days. Today it did not look itself and I was able to catch the fish without much effort. This was not the case the other day. I also noticed it was being harassed by the purple tang. It is as if the purple is trying to kill the weak fish.
I took the pyramid and placed it in QT. I began treatment with maramycin. Hopefully this will do the trick. Does anyone have experience with maramycin for pop eye?
I realize this might be trauma. But if I wanted any chance of saving this fish it had to go in QT. I will try Maramycin and hopefully I will be able to nurse it back to health.
