Pop Eye

Guys...
My Damsel is having a pop left eye..... All the other fishes are good......
It is the fastest fish in my tank...No way I can catch him without taking everything out of my rock.... Have a fox face in my tank too..... so would prefer not to insert my hand in the tank for a long time.....

A fox face won't hurt you unless you purposely try to grab it. Also I think pop eye is one of those diseases that will eventually go away on its own provided you are feeding well and keeping up on the water quality.

I am really not good with pop eye. Never had it "knock on wood"....But I think it is caused by several things. If it continues to get worse I would do a little research on it and see what reatment options are. Its possible a parasite has caused it as well as a bacteria. So treatment may be needed. If the fish is eating and acting normal I would leave it alone for now. Just make sure you keep the water quality great.

Pop-eye in a single eye of a marine fish is very often caused by trauma. There is no treatment for this other than time. If you could post a picture, we could maybe give you a better assesement.
