My Moor has had a large, clear bubble in one eye for 2 days now. I turned off my 2 microjet pumps, one Koralia pump, and the skimmer yesterday. I've been feeding peas. The bubble looks bigger than ever and seems to have split, like an embryo. Anything I can do for him?
On Friday night, he started bumping into the decorations and tank walls, so I covered the tank till Saturday afternoon. Seems to be ok now.
The Moor went into my MT 10 days ago after being in QT for 8 weeks. He still eats like a horse and is friendly like a puffer! Don't think he's being bullied since he acts unafraid of the other fish.
Did large (50%) water change last night to lower sallinity to treat for ich. Water parameters had been perfect except for Nitrate (80) before that since we change 25-30% every 2 weeks and had Chemi-Pure in as well.
I had used a few doses of Novalek's organic Ich Attack--could his eye be irritated? Salt is now 1.014 and am planning to lower it a bit further to 1.010. Have been advised to keep it there for 21 days and that it won't hurt my fish. The puffers already hate it, tho.
Thanks for any help you can give!
Dianne
