Hello all. I was just wondering what magazines you guys use when learning about saltwater aquariums. Just wanted some extra reading on the hobby

I just read the archieved monthly editions of RC magazine. There must be weeks worth of reading there, and it's all sorted and searchable so you don't have to read worthless junk and random ads for magic mud.

By all means read [rk]. It has a wealth of information. You may also look at the post at the top of this forum that has links to all sorts of good info for the new reefer.

I have a subscription to "Coral" magazine. Incredible pictures and good articles. The only thing that is BEYOND annoying is the placement of the latin names of EVERYTHING behind the common name.

The use of the Latin names is imperative to correctly identify corals as common names vary by region.

P.S. You also get far more positive hits if you use the Latin name in a search engine.
