Porcupine Puffer and SPS Reef

Hi everyone,

My 2 year old is obsessed with puffers.... So my question is, Can it be possible or has anyone had a porcupine puffer in there reef? They are very exotic looking creatures and I would love to have one but not if it will eat my clams and inhabitants... Thanks Happy Easter!:wavehand:

Mine ate a chromis and tried most of the cleanup crew.. I don't think he ever munched on sps though

Porcupine is never reef safe. One of these puffers will eat crustaceans and also corals as well.

Like I say in all of my post about puffers + reef = disaster waiting to happening, it might not happen in days, weeks, months, or years. I'd hate to lose expensive corals due to my favorite fish. Reefing has turned me from a puffer addict into a retired puffer addict.
