Porcupine puffer coral eater???

I am considering putting a porcupine puffer in my reef and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience in keeping them with corals. I am not concerned about it eating inverts just corals. I have a mixed reef of lps, sps, and softies.

It all depends on the personality of the fish, i guarantee you can have 100people jump on this thread and tell you that a puffer will at least nip at your corals (but they have never seen it happen), and if you tried, it may never happen, i have heard of one person keeping a porc in a reef and my cousin kept one with softies, both times the porc was fine in the tank

I agree with Jiddy, you will receive mixed opinions. It's whether or not you want to take the risk.

Ya thinks jiddy. Are you the same jiddy from reeffrontiers by any chance? I gona give it a chance and see how it works out I'll just monitor him and see what he does. I don't really think they are coral eaters just inverts as far as I know. I'll let you how it turns out.

I sure am the same Jiddy as ReefFrontiers.com and make sure you update us, im curious to see if puffers are 3for3 with people who have actually tried it
