1. How old is this aquarium? 2 Months

2. If less than six months old, what is ammonia level? 0.0

3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured? 1.025

4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium? 1 month

5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How? No.

6. If you are using a copper based medication, which one? How often do you measure level? When? No.

7. If you are using hyposalinity, how did you calibrate your refractometer? No.

8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color?

He has clouded over eyes with two larger patches of opaque white forming over both eyes.

His fins have a yellow color to them with slight brown spots as opposed to clear fins.

9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish?

He has been eating fine for the past week, but today he has refused food, he cant really see the food to eat either, even when putting it in front of him.

I usually feed him frozen (multiple kinds) of frozen shrimp and he LOVES it.

PICTURE 1: He was healthy when I got him.

PICTURE 2/3: Sickness.

Nitrite and Nitrate are both at 0 as well. PH is at 8.2.

If I am not mistaken, I see symptoms of ich in the second photo, and LOTS of it too! Cloudy eyes are typical during ich infestations. You need to pull all of the fish out into a QT and treat with either hyposalinity or copper, and hopefully the cloudy eye fades and he regains his eyesight.

Please read the ich stickies on the top of this forum.

Do not treat a scaleless fish with copper. The cloudy eye is caused mostly by poor water conditions. Increase filtration and water changes. Make sure he continues to eat and feed foods soaked in vitamins. For ich, treat via hypo salinity
