Made a bit more progress. I have "retrofitted" my previous canopy to fit this tank and painted it black. I had to add 6 inches to the depth and build a new light rack. I need to adjust the doors a bit and ad something to stop the light creepage around them. The canopy has 12v fans blowing air in and holes in the top for the heat to escape.

I really need to read up on taking pictures of my corals. Very hard to get the colors correct with the LED's.

I lost my file fish for an unknown reason:uhoh2: now the aptasia is making a comeback. I will be getting at least one replacement as soon as possible.

Just FYI i quick fix on loud overflow pipes is to take a length of airline tubing and lower it half way down the pipe, raise and lower until the sound goes away, it allows back pressure to escape. Also in your picture, if you are using kalk(limewater) in you plastic top off tank, be aware that kalk can make it brittle over time and it could crack. i use a glass 20 gal on mine, it has a cheap acrylic top which has cracked best of luck to you.

Also remember you tank and pipes are new, in a month or so they will probably change flow and sound when good old bio slime grows in them.
