Positioning of Powerheads

Guys.

I'm working on DIYing an SPS nano where all the equipment will be hidden from view behind some black Acrylic. I have a question regarding the positioning of the Seio 820s. The tank is 24x12x18 (high).

They will both be oon the same left hand side wall, approx 12 inches apart. My question is, am I going to get a better flow pattern with one at the top on one side and another one third of the way down (or lower) on the other side, or am I better off with both at the same level?

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I about to drill the acryl and then there's no going back!

I realise there might be a bit of a sandstorm and am keen to minimise this. I can always dial them back if necesary.

I'd go both high, this should create a cyclical effect rather than just blasting the opposite wall

I agree with Reef-Daddy.

If you check out a lot of the smaller tanks with Tunze's, they will have the streams mounted to the back wall blasting the front glass, causing the cyclical flow rather than blasting the corals directly.
