Positioning the Clam

I just got a 4 inch Crocea. I knew that they were best viewed from the top but that is nearly impossible to do. So how does everyone else position them to make them look their best when viewing from the front of the tank.

The problem is that they need to be pointed up to recieve the light they need. That's why people buy special clam tanks with front angled glass/acrylic. It would be in your clam's best itnerest to be positioned upward and look down through the top of your tank if you want to see his "real" colors :)

I think it is a compromise but you can place them as low in the aquarium and as close to the front pane as possible within the limitations of the amount of light they will receive.
