Anyone else excited for the fragswap thats going to be here before we know it? I personally cant wait! I've been to a few but this a first time I have anything to swap.

Thanks to all the people involved in the club that help put these great things together!!!

not to excited to deal with crowds and rude people, just excited to get some nice new things. alot of people said they had to wait in line to get in last year, i just walked right in must of come at the right time. luckily its right down the street from me and a nice place too.

This is going to be fun, I am excited as heck. This will be my second one, and at least this time I know what I am going to be going after. Last year I went there with a cooler and just bought what I thought was cool looking :). Not looking forward to the mob of people that will be there though.

never been to one. was at a auction/raffle for a freshwater club a few times. looking forward to this though

Thats a surprise you havent been to one with all the years you have been in the hobby. The first time I went I had no idea what the heck I was looking at. SPS? LPS? The only thing I understood was "this is $5." GREAT, i'll take it!!! Now I get to be a little more selective. Should be some great stuff there.

I am super excited... the only problem is that my budget is quickly being exhausted due to fragswapper! I have to show some mental will here because I know there will be lots of goodies that I'm going to see and "need" :)

I had to setup more tanks just because of the swap. The bottom of my swap page says "43 Item(s) Promised ".

I think I need help.

I look at fragswapper alot 15 times a day its great. I wish we could trade and sale all the time thats what make a club and a hobby.] 15 Items Promised to me thanks fragswapper and the people that run it.

i can't wait for the swap too. will be my first one and been working a lot of overtime to be able to add to my tank :) just hope my girlfriend doesn't decide to go into labor early otherwise ill be paying someone to pick up my stuff for me and be missing out on lots of other things. i also hope its easy to find the people that i have bought stuff from on fragswapper there.

Went to the venue this morning with Kevin to pay the balance and get things straightened out for next weekend.....going to be good times

This will be my first Cleveland swap. I've done a few Columbus swaps, and they were a good time. At the CORA swaps they give nametag stickers that you can fill out (I put both my fragswapper name and first name) so you could find people that you bought from or sold to.

I think it is going to be overwhelming finding people. I agree with the name tags. I am very anxious to see how this all happens. I have never been to a swap before. It is getting close now. I can hardly wait.

I went to the swap last year and it was crazy. I didn't know where to start! So many people to talk to and livestock and equipment to see. Its a good thing plastic doesn't work at these things. haha

I believe the vendors there can call in "plastic" purchases if I'm not mistaken :)

Remember to print off your swaps from frag swapper friday night because the swap gets taken off on saturday the day of the swap
Just a heads up on that

Argh! Now I'm in trouble. lol

Thanks for the heads up about fragswapper though - I did not know that.

Best advice on finding people is to give out your cell number to those you are trading with. I have had it happen where I couldn't find a guy and I called the number he gave me to find out he wasn't going to make it but said I could give it to another guy that was there. The other guy paid me and I gave him the items that I would have otherwise had to take home with me. It REALLY helps to send out that one email to each person you have a trade with.

We should have a diagram of some sort with a listing of each person selling there. We will also have name tags available, as always, but they are optional and some people choose to not stick one on.

I checked out the place today and it is very nice! It should be GREAT :D

You can still access your lists on Saturday but if the site goes down it would make things really bad :( . So print a copy the day before just to be sure but...
On the day of the swap you will want to go to fragswapper.com, choose "My Trades" then choose "checklist" from the left hand menu and then print that checklist. It makes life soooo much easier that day. Don't forget to bring a pen to check them off

Last call for volunteers... anyone that feels like helping out for a one hour shift please send a PM to Jennifer ( reefwidowed )

No problem Keith... It also groups them like if you have an item sold to me then you are buying two from me you will see them both in the same place and the dollar figures are filled in too. Makes fragswapper worth much more than you paid for it ;)

Yeah, The price is def. right. Do listings usually get more frequent when the event grows closer? It just seems like there are a ton of people registered and not nearly the amount of people swapping.
Just curious.
