Possible change

No it's not rimless. It's an All-Glass 210. No pics yet. I have to tear down the other 2 tanks before I can even think about setting this one up.

Once I get these down and out of the way, I will start to document the new build.

The 90G is pending, but still no takers on the awesome 150G.

How can you sell that beauty 150gal when I helped to move it...lol!!! What a sad day :D

Yes. Sorry Dre. It is a sad day. However, it has been emptied and is sitting all alone in the garage.

Someone needs to come buy this beauty.

Little update, the tank is in the garage with no stand.

It would not fit through the door, so I had to dismantle it. Because I used glue along with the fasteners, it didn't come apart so pretty. The top and bottom are good. You would only need to make the corner supports, but this would allow you to build the stand at your desired height.

Someone come grab this thing out of my garage before I get tempted to set it up again.

Thanks

New one in basement?

Yes sir. New one in the basement on the stand, sump in place. I need to plumb it still which is always fun. Especially when you build the stand an inch or so too short than what would be ideal. I built the stand at 32" with 3/4" plywood on top so I could get in this beast better. It's 30" tall and being a midget, I needed all the help I can get.

Anyway, with having minimal room under the stand (height) it's tight so plumbing will be interesting. If anyone wants to volunteer to come help out, I'm all for it. I am beat from Friday and yesterday's festivities. The skimmer cup has 1/4" wiggle room, so I will be incorporating a remote skimmate collection cup down the road.

This change/upgrade/move/ and crazy idea as my wife calls it, started Friday evening after work. A run to the lumber yard for some last minute parts and some extra containers from the local LFS for water, dinner with the wife and play time with the pooch; I finally got started a bit after 8p.m. I finished building the new stand at midnight with 1 coat of sealer on it.

Got up yesterday, had to go to work for a bit, and then back to it. Buyer for the 90G came around 11:45 so that took some time. Emptied the 150g and dismantled everything...controller, sump, plumbing,ATO....needless to say, yesterday was a long and heavy day as well.

I went with the mega-flow kits for this tank which I think was a mistake. I should have just done my own plumbing, The bulkheads they provide do not allow hard pipe since they have a barb on the end of them. So I get to figure all that out today. I hope to have water in it today. We shall see......
