Possible Disease on Yellow Tang

Hello Fellow Reefers!

Can't remember my old login stuff, nor do I have access to the email for it anymore, so I made this new one. I haven't been around in a while, but I know this community is the best!

Anyway, I have 75gal Marine tank with a ~25 gal sump and a protein skimmer. Live rock, no real coral, except for couple mushroom corals.

Livestock includes 11 Damsels (blue/green chromis), 1 coral banded shrimp, 1 algae blenny and a yellow tang. Also a handful of snails and small hermit crabs.

Nothing new has been added for a while (at least 2 months). Last couple days I noticed that the yellow tang (who has been in the tank for about 8+ months now), has started to show signs of damage on his dorsal fin.

I don't see any aggression between the damsels and I don't notice any white spots or other damage. It used to be smooth along the top, and now it looks like chunks are missing. I haven't seen any erratic behavior either.

I attached a picture below, hopefully someone can give me some insight on what this is!

Thank you in advance!!

Looks somewhat like fin rot. Although I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of something munching on his fin (like a big hermit crab).
