Hi all,
I'm cycling a 105G. I already have an Ocellaris pair, and a Yellow Watchman Goby in the 20L which will be tore down when the 105G is ready.
Here is the list so far..suggestions welcome please.

Ocellaris Pair- already have
Yellow Watchman Goby- already have
Tiger Pistol Shrimp for Watchman buddy (or other compatible shrimp)
McCoskers Flasher Wrasse-Male
Kole Yellow Eye Tang

That is the list so far, do they sound compatible?
Room for more? Suggestions?
Must be reef safe! I have 3 clams already which will go in here.
1 Derasa
1 Crocea
1 Maxima
Thanks

You've done a great job on the rock scape how have you made the bridge in the middle are they stacked on one another?

Thanks! I actually just stacked it all in. No glue or anything, and it's very stable and solid. I pushed the base rocks all the way down to the glass. So hopefully no problems...

GOod that you have otherwise once you get a goby it will demolish your whole build or even worse a convict blenny would do it quicker IMO. Have you thought about an angelfish? I'm sure a yellow tang will be fine and a nice yellow coloration just to add more colour in fish. You've also got a deep enough sand bed for a yellow head jawfish? They are really funny in character.

You've done good planning for your coral placement :)

Not sure the yellow tang and the Kole tang will play nice?

Also will the Jawfish and Watchman be ok together? If so I love the jawfish.

Angel? I don't trust any of them with corals and clams...unless someone has suggestions.

Yeah I really thought about coral placement as I built this one.

I just read that the Kole Tang won't play well with other Tangs. Who knows, I could go Yellow Tang instead, but kinda wanted to have something different.

I can't advise you on any suitable angelfish as your right they can be 50/50 either good or bad. Your watchman goby should be fine as once the jawfish digs its hole in the substrate it will come in and out only searching for food. Sometimes they may make 2 or 3 around the tank and choose the best one. You get the odd ones that roam around the tank a little more.

Pick the kole tang. Loads of personality and very interesting the way they eat and pick the rocks.

I used to have a kole and a yellow together and they were great. In a 105 though, I would say just do the kole.

You could do a blenny, fairy wrasse, flasher wrasse (pairs even), anthias (trio). All of these would work. Lyretail anthias are very hardy, inexpensive and beautiful fish imo.

I personally have an addiction to fairy wrasses. I have a maldivian exquisite wrasse and although he's a bit on the aggressive side, he is still one of my favorite fish. He's got personality to spare.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I'm set on the Kole Tang, now to try find one locally first, before going online. A Flasher Wrasse pair would be great, and I love the idea of an Anthias trio!

Just tell your favorite LFS that you want one and they should be able to get one for you, they are fairly common.
