Possible Heat Issues?

Would I have heat issues w/ an Aquamedic 2x250W + 1x150W fixture over a 110-120 gallon tank? I'm not quite sure about the dimensions of the tank, but it is 48" long and so is the fixture.

Any time you use metal halide lighting heat will be an issue. You will need at least some fans in the sump/canopy, but usually most people employ chillers.

I think it will also depend on how far away the fixture will be placed from the tank (water) itslef ... fan across the surface of the water will do wonders!
