Possible Ich? Other possibilities?

I have a blackcap basslet. I had him with a small angel, and didn't keep a close enough watch on them, and the angel ended up nipping the bottom of the basslets tail fin pretty good--I am still very new to this.

The edge of the fin has some white stuff on it. Did a freshwater dip a couple days ago. Since then, the white stuff has been getting less and less prominent.

Took some pictures, but you can't really see it in the photos.

Is this likely ich, which I would treat with hypo, or just a minor infection that will go away on its own? Any other precautions I should take.

Could be lymphocystis which often gets a start in abrasions. Could also be a bacterial infection. If it is already getting better then you may not have anything to worry about. Keep the fish in quarantine to observe it.
