Possible Old Castle Sand buy

Hey everyone

I going to try and get a pallet or 2 of Southdown. I know it's suppose to all gone. But, I saw a thread where a guy was getting it in Florida by the pallet. Thought maybe I would try and get some this way. I have all the right numbers (sku, upc, etc) in order to get the right
stuff as you know there sku numbers are universal on sand. But, I learned from the first time I got some, that I need the UPC number
in order to get the right stuff.

Anyway, I just want to know if anyone would be interested in it,
if I can get it? Don't want to do this if it's not going to move. As if I can get it in this time, maybe I can keep it coming in. So please let me know if you're interested.

I dont know why we just cant go to Easton where the Factory is and buy it direct. Easton is about 30min from here.

I think it's a little bit more for me. Do you know where the factory is? Maybe, that wouldn't be a bad idea, if they would sell it to us? Might be worth the trip

hi, i hope this doesnt matter to you guys but i live on long island and am a member of the LIRA. ive been looking everywhere for this sand and if you could get a pallet of the southdown tropical pplaysand then i would be interested in some bags if this goes through. thanks!

I contacted Toms River Home Depot. They said they had 256 bags. Went there and nobody could find it anywhere. Home Depot sucks!!

Hey Andy

I went to the HD in Howell, and they said they had it in Toms River. But, upon contacting the manager there, he said it was the other play sand they carry, from Durascape. So, that's was the end of that store. The lady I was talking to at HD gave me a couple of other places that MAY have it. I haven't contaxted them yet to see. I may call Old Castle and see where they carry it. I know a couple of nursery schools that want to replace the sand in the old sandbox, so, I'll just say it for that. But if I can find a place in N.J. that has it I will post it here.

I called the West Long Branch store and they said 510 bags. I asked the guy to verify it, and he said that was the stuff they had. I am going to go there at lunch and see if I can get some. He said it is clearance item and the is 3.49 a bag.

Yeah

from what the lady at HD in Howell said, it was suppose to be on clearance too. She said that they would be no longer carrying it. I also spoke to a manager about Old Castle products, and he said they would be carrying them anymore. Hmmmm, that I find interesting, I wonder why?

In any event, should you find it there, please post here that you did,
there are a lot of people that want some good ole SOUTHDOWN!
