My tank is 9 months old, so I'm still "new".
I recently added a sixline wrasse about 3 weeks ago. I've noticed it has two small bulges on the right side of its body and it appears that scales are starting to break away from these two spots.
Tank parameters:
29G
Sal. 1.026
All water parameters good
Other inhibitants - pair of oscellaris clowns & YWG
I have had great results with all live stock from the LFS, but this fish seems to have a possible parasite.
Swimming behavior is normal for the species and healthy appetite. I have not witnessed any scratching that would indicate a parasite nor does it appear to be lacking oxygen.
Is it possible this is the result of a fight with the clowns who have dominated the tank? Or is it a disease I need to treat ASAP to avoid losing the tank?
