Hi guys. I'm right across the river from Iowa so I thought I'd try listing here.
After being in the hobby since 2005, I'm 'considering' giving it a break for a while. I'm not in a rush to sell everything but, if anybody is interested, I would be willing to sell out everything and walk away for a while.
If you already have a tank and lights, and may be looking for livestock to fill it with, I have a lot of nice stuff. It is roughly $2k worth of livestock and liverock, but likely more. To a good home..... livestock list includes:
About 40 lbs+ of liverock at least... ($280 worth)
plus live sand
1- Coral beauty angel (beautiful healthy fish, several years old, well tempered)
Mated, spawning pair of Maroon clowns, hosting lg. GBTA and RBTA, all several years old. Got the GBTA in 2005. Has split twice. RBTA has split several times.
1- 6 in. diameter branching frogspawn, pink tips, perfectly round, gorgeous
1- 9 in. long wall hammer, pink tips, beautiful specimen (paid $100 for when it was much smaller several years ago)
Few heads of pink tipped and green tipped frogspawn
1- baseball sized clump of GSPs (they have never taken over on me)
1- yellow branching leather. Very yellow.
1- 3x4 maze brain
1- large colony of candy cane, many heads, roughly softball sized.
1- colony of Blastomusa welsi, many heads
1- Rainbow acan echinata (was $100)
1- Orange crush echinata w/green eyes(orange/pink, gorgeous, paid $100)
4 different smaller acan colonies. Best one is red rim, white stripes, purple inside rim with light blue and red stripes on the face. Paid $100 for it by itself, growing well.
1- colony of roughly 50 polyps of Goochster zoas
1- colony of roughly 30 RPEs
1- colony of roughly 50 Eagle eyes
1- colony of pink day trippers
3- monti caps mounted on frag-mags on glass, orange, mint green and light brown with purple rim
Medium, well branched out, purple monti digi
smaller orange monti digis
Superman monti danae, well encrusted
Unknown number of blue legged and scarlet hermits
1- emerald crab
3- Harlequin serpent stars
4- Nassarius snails (they burrow in the sand and come out for food)
unknown number of other snails
Will sell it all for $1k firm. Most everything could be fragged and much of the $$ recouped immediately. ALSO, if you buy it all, I will throw in a brand new, unopened, 5 gal. bucket of Red Sea, Coral Pro salt worth $50, a premium Deltec Phosphate test kit worth $80, and a couple gallons of B-ionic worth $30. So that would be less than $850 for all livestock. This is a huge discount from what I have in all this!
Price reflects a package deal. I've thought about selling the two hammers together for $300 by themselves. Large ones are not often found for sale.
This deal is for anyone who is serious about getting into the hobby and would like to save a ton of money on good, larger sized, livestock.
I do care more about the home everything goes to more than the $$. I can offer unlimited help and advice after the sale. Anybody seriously interested would be welcome to see everything in person before the sale. I can send pics/video as well.
Again, I am in no hurry. It doesn't matter to me if somebody wants to buy everything tomorrow or 6 months from now or a year from now. I love the aquarium, but I am at a point where I am willing to pass it on for someone else to enjoy at any time.
Would have equipment for sale after all livestock is gone. IMO it is very low maintenance. I do have a Tunze Omsolator for ATO with calcium dipsenser, bucket and kalk that would be for sale. (Topping off was my biggest complaint before that was purchased)
I also have a 24 gal. aquapod on one of the nice 28 gal. JBJ nanocube stands with the 4 short silver pedestals. Have $200 in this setup. Could let go for $100, tank and stand together. Stand is brand new. Tank lightly used.
Can deliver if your tank is set up and it's a reasonable distance. Or can meet halfway. For this much stuff, I am willing to deliver most anywhere in eastern Iowa. Also, I would prefer cash so I didn't have to worry about a check clearing.
Thanks for looking and happy reefing.
