Possibly a Moronic question- Aptasia

Well, I'm stumped. After looking at my tank again (normally I'm focused entirely on "Phil", to a degree that I'm practically oblivious to everything else) I realized that the cnidarian devils are in there on the rocks in the typical huge numbers- 2+ per square inch of rock surface. The reason I'm stumped is that a lot are from before phil went in the tank (rocks are from 90g tanks refugium), and a week before I got him, I went on kalk-injecting spree. The whole week the tank looked like it was having an underwater version of a blizzard! (I did a major water change before he went in to fix the calcium and pH levels, which were a bit off from the dosings) One would think that would have finished them-worked in the 90 and that was with tank feedings and the extra kalk was blown away from the powerheads. Anyhoo, any ideas how to get rid of them?

Moe, Larry and Curly have done a fantastic job of removing all (visible) aiptasia from Tim's abode...

(Peppermint shrimp) ;)

Yeah......but peppermints are $9.99 around here...expensive for critters that'll end up chow eventually!

$9.99??????

Thought they were expensive here at $2 :D Guess I was wrong.

Temporarily you could put Phil in your refugium, get a peppermint, let him do his thang and move him to your main, then phil back.

Phil may see it as a holiday :)

Hmmmm....I guess....but phil is still in the "is this a good burrow? or this? or thisorthisorthis...." stage. I think he's almost decided, but not quite, and I dont wanna go through that stage again! :D

Yeah, well up in wisconsin it's kinda hard to find a PUBLIC body of saltwater...(i.e. outside aquarists houses ;)
