Possibly bad AB bulb?

I bought a pair of 250w 10k AB DE bulbs about 4 months ago and have been using them for about 3 months. I just installed actinics 2 weeks ago, and since then I have noticed that one side of the tank is much more yellow than the other. I guess I didn't notice it before because without the actinics, both sides looked pretty yellow. But now, one side looks perfect, the other side has a very heavy yellow, almost greenish, cast. When you view the tank it is very noticable - looks like I'm running 2 completely different bulbs. I also noticed that while the coralline algae has really taken off on the one (good) side, there is almost no coralline algae growing on the yellow side (don't know if this is related or not).

I remember reading some time ago that AB had a bad batch of bulbs, but I thought that had been cleared up by the time I ordered mine. Anyway, is there any kind of warranty on these bulbs, and if so can PA handle it for me, or will I have to go through AB directly?

EDIT - forgot to mention I'm running these in RO3 pendants with IceCap ballasts, all bought new from PA. Not sure if it makes a difference.

HI Mike,

With AB bulbs, they require you to deal directly with them on warranty issues, pretty strict for some reason. I"m at home now, so if you need there number just let me know and i can paste it tomorrow for you.

If you need your receipt emailed to you or we can fax it to AB etc, let us know.
