Possibly ich??

I have recently set up a 30 g saltwater tank. I've had it running for about a month now and every fish that I have put in there has died. Right now in there I have a tomato clown and a long nose hawkfish. The hawkfish stopped eating last night and has been acting weird. I have seen them scrape against glass, not 100% if it's ich. My tomato clown has this gray spot on him not sure if it is a scale or some other disease. Any help is appreciated

i would say if every fish you put in there has died then just sterilize that tank and start over and wait more than a month to stock it. SLOWLY.

BUT it doesnt sound like every fish has died , at least not yet. So either treat for ich if actual signs of the parasite show or try dosing someting like prazi.

How long does the fish last before death in the tank? Has any chemicals or meds been used in that tank before or on the rocks? I don't think it's ich. What symptoms are you seeing before they die?
