I say possible because I still need to run this by my parents. I think they will approve, but who knows.
For my tank, I was going to do a 40b. Seems like a pretty good size.
Stand - DIY.
Filtration - I plan for my macros to be my only filtration, along with a cuc to keep some things under control. No sump.
Lighting - I was planning on using some PAR38 bulbs. I don't exactly know which ones I want, so if someone could please direct me towards one or another, that would be of great help.
Flow - Two Tunze 6025s. Sound good? Or should I go up to the 6045s?
Rock - was going to do real reef rock.
Sand - Good ol' carib-sea. This is where my next concern is. I want a yellowhead jawfish. I REALLY want a yellowhead jawfish. How deep of a sandbed would I need? I really do not want to go above 2". Would it be possible for me to do a couple of inches of sand, but then add some rubble so the jawfish can make its burrow?
Stock - Planning on adding some barnacle blennies, a yellowhead jawfish, and maybe a dwarf angel of some sort.
Macro Algae - Any good species you can recommend? I will go with some caulerpa and kind of want to see how a few mangroves may do. I do not want any seagrasses in my tank.
Dosing - Do I need to dose anything? Iron or potassium? Nitrates?
