post a pic of your clownfish

some BTA never recover their zoox once they expell it. This does not mean they are on the way out.

However; you should be certain that the BTA is getting adequate light. In all likelyhood your BTA will be fine as long as you supply it with a lot of feeding and make sure it is getting lots o' light.

dailydriven911, your BTA is extremely bleached. That means its dying.

Calm down my friend, I actually bought it in much worse condition for a very good price and now it's doing much better. When I first got it about a month ago it could not eat or move now it's much bigger, eats like crazy, moved to a better location (finally stayed there) and has gained alot of it's color back. I have (2) 65 watt pc's over my 25g which is enough light for bta's anyway. I actually saved the guy from a petshop that had no clue how to keep anenomes. Thanks for looking out for me anyway!:D

55semireef,

I am told in time the black sections between the white lines will darken.

They are both still young. I will try to get a better photo later today after work.

Ok good good. You had me scared there for a second thinking that was its normal color. It will probably look much better in a month.

pretty much the only way is to put the word out with all of your LFS. I don't know of any captive bred caps being raised. You can also check rareclownfish.com for a more specific discussion of rare clowns and their acquisition.

thanks, i have checked there and have been posting questions. there are some leuckranos breeders there that may be able to supply some.

HI Dan thanks, he came they both came from ReeferMadness.
They are beautiful fish and just today the larger excepted the new little male into the anemones. I was so happy so see that.
She has kept him at the far side of the tank for almost a month now.
As for the mouths open, they will do that ocasionally and there is no problem with it.
It had just finished eating about an hour before the picture was taken and was fully expanded giving me a chance to finally get a good picture of both mouths.
It is the first good picture I have gotten of them.
