Post Ich Tank Dilemna

I have had the ICH train come rumbling through my tank because of life's other responsibilities I could not medicate my mixed reef tank and let nature take its course. Prior to introducing my fish they all went through a 4 QT process but were only medicated if symptoms arose. Obviously something made it through

So my current situation is this - The remaining fish have been asymptomatic for at least 6 weeks. But with the holidays around I will have some time and am wondering if I should try and capture all the remaining fish let the tank go fallow for 70 days? Or leave as is for another couple of months slowly build my coral collection and than add additional fish later?

If the fish are asymptomatic does that mean I no longer have ICH in the tank? If ICH is present in the tank why hasn't it knocked out all of my fish?

The tank is a 225 mixed reef. The remaining fish are yellow tang, Blue Hippo, 3 flasher wrasses, African Flameback, Yellow Head sleeper Goby, Spotted Hawkfish, 2 purple Firefish.

For QT I have 29 Gallon, a recently acquired 55 gallon, and a 30 breeder that houses a pair of blue damsels that is used as my observation tank.

Ich does not have to be visible to be present. If the fish were infected previously and not treated, they still have subclinical infections. The reason they have survived is that their immune systems have kept the parasites in check. However, any naive (not previously infected) fish introduced to the tank would be infected quickly.

So, if you want to be rid of the parasite once and for all, the only way is to remove all fish for treatment in a hospital tank and leave the DT fallow for 72 days. I prefer Tank Transfer Method for treating Cryptocaryon.
