What a bunch of awesome pictures you all posted- this is a great thread!

It looks like it was cropped but it wasn't- that's full frame from a Canon 1DMII and 100mm macro lens. Processed in Photoshop.

Louis, those shots are ridiculous! The first picture of the beetle is absolutely incredible.

The other pictures in this post are cool too but I am really drawn to great macro shots.

Thanks for the compliments. I use a sony f70. The lion pict was taken with my good old point and shoot Nikon Cool-Pix. Unfortunatly the lion was from back when I had a FOWLR. I lost almost everything but the rock after Hurricane Charlie. We didn't haver power for 5 days. I started a full reef setup when I bought my new house, and about 6 months later another hurricane! 2 hours without power I finally found a Home Depot that was open even though they had no power either, so I went and bought a nice big generator to power the house. I didn't loose anything the second time.
