Nice, I get my Miro - 4 aluminum tomorrow plan on making these too. Along with my VHO Super actinics!!! Runningstix, how long did those reflectors take?

About 2 hours each. It wouldnt take that long if I didnt start them at 1 in the morning. I used solar tube from home depot as it super reflective.

hey runningstix i couldnt find solar tubes on the home depot website thats it have another name ??
i will like to make some reflectors like your they look very good

it just sucks that the reflectors in those hologen shop lights are not the greatest, but they work. i used one for a wile for when i needed one for my frag tank and it was nice for the price. then i got a half way decent de reflector and it was twice as nice.

one last thing..............that is killer though!!!!!!!!

I did the DIY Lumenarcs likes Runningstix's using hammertone from Sunlight Supply. They only sell the hammertone in packages of four 2x4 sheets. After splitting the project with another guy it came out to less than $30/reflector. These are the best reflectors I've ever owned...I won't be going back to a cheapo design ever again.
