Hey Travis, thanks for the ping. I haven't had time to crusie the forums lately due to work.
Ahhh, another thread on the Oregon Blue tort. Seems to have one every quarter or so, but glad to hear this is one coral that is popular.
IME, the Tort hold its color well under constant condition (water parameter and lighting). Any one change and the tort will change with it. Sometimes not as drastic, but may loose some intensity but quickly regain its color. I keep mine under a 400W MH and medium flow.
Like Steve mentioned, the tort does grow thick and branch out. As I have noticed, it's more of a medium grower than a fast grower like a millipora. And not as slow as Bali deep water corals. But it is still my favorite.
