It's a fish! worked great

It is a Purple Tang, a fish that I have been wanting for the longest time. My wife and daughter even made comments, which is rare for the wife, as she usually takes no interest in the tank.

While certainly not a "rare" fish, I am very happy with it. Now possibly the wife will be more interested in my hobby.

Gotta express my thanks to Chad and Chelsey. I would not have it if it was not for them.

I got the tang at MS. It seems kind of simplistic possibly, but I have always wanted a Purple tang. I think they are gorgeous, and so does Katie my daughter, and possibly even the wife.

My camera sucks too, but I will take some tank shots with the lights on. This morning everyone was hanging out together.. sort of one big happy family...


After my tank transfer, none of my SPS fared well. Was it s amall cycle? Perhaps, but the only thing I ended up with was my rics and frogspwan and open brain. All of my sps bit the dust. A lesson learned.

All the the SPS I have in the tank now are from Roy Brown, or I bought at the frag swap from Brad23 (Thanks so much Brad), and Chelsey and Chad.

Chad sold me a Purple acro that looks gorgeous to me in my tank. I hope it grows out fast so everyone can enjoy it. He also sold me a sort of brown with purple tips, which looked mouc more purple in my tank when I got it in there.
