Potassium Nitrate

I'm going to start dosing Potassium Nitrate to get my nitrates up. Will I also see any benefit on the potassium levels?

One mg/L of nitrate will raise potassium by 0.6 mg/L when dosed as potassium nitrate.

I had zero Nitrates and zero Phosphates at one time too. I dosed potassium nitrate from NilocG Aquatics, along with FishofHex Phosphate. Soon I had a excess of phosphates even when I stopped dosing the FishofHex Phosphate.
I started using Sodium Nitrate from Loudwolf. No more issues with rising Phosphates. The Sodium in the mix makes little difference as sea water is mostly sodium in one form or another.
The Sodium Nitrate from Loudwolf is cheap & shipping was/is free!
Just my observations.
