Hahahaha! I should stop and read sometimes. That's funny. I was wondering who has acans in their tank and doesn't know it. Then I was wondering how no one else could identify. Lol.

I see red blobs that could be anything from cyano, to bubble algae, to musrooms, to coralline algae, etc.

not nearly enough detail to definitively say "this is X".

How does it feel to the touch? You should be able to tell right away whether it's some type of algae or something else.

no worries, I can see how it can be tough to ID with all the other possibilities out there. Realized I shouldn't have been so confident in my post as it could possibly be anything you mentioned as well.

Here is a better picture. Sorry for the delay. I'm pretty sure I lost the acan . Just wondering if I should get rid of the frag with this on it.
