Hi guys, first time posting but there seems to be a wealth of experience here. I am looking to make the move to saltwater fish in the next 6 months ( i tried to post on the new purchases thread but seemed closed so sorry if this should be somewhere else) so I have spent hours researching types of fish and their compatibility, density and pH levels which all seem similar. Bit less of a give on the density due to the Jawfish so these will be the ones to remove if it is too overloaded, but I wanted to know if this doable based on 3" max lengths with 4 inch filefish. The rest of the tank set up I will research separately but as a starting point so I know I am not wasting my time.
450 litre Jewel tank, 10sqf so from what I've read should hold 30 inches of fish.
1 Basslet royal gramma
2 Kaudern Cardinals
2 ocillaris clownfish
2 Radial Filefish
2 Yellowhead Jawfish
Total of 29 inches if they all grew to max size so I appreciate it is tight so will obviously add gradually. With an anenome and the appropiate live rocks and suggrogate for the jawfish. Am I missing something or can these all live together in harmony?
On paper it shouldn't be a problem as all placid and try to get the correct sex as much as possible with the various hiding spaces for the cardinals and Jawfish.
Thankyou for any help on this it is greatly appreciated.
