Potential Stocking List for 65g

[Fish Biscuit]

About a month ago I cracked my 40B & upgraded to a 65 rimless with a larger sump with a fuge.

I currently have:
Helfrichi Firefish
Randall Goby & candy cane pistol
Possum Wrasse
Barnacle Blenny
Mandarin
Sexy Shrimp
Cleaner & Peppermint Shrimp
Various Snails
Hermit Crabs

I am looking to add just a few more fish, below are just possibilities. I want a peaceful tank, no shrimp or coral eaters.

Ventralis Anthias - single fish or other peaceful anthias that would be fine by itself
Gold Assessor
Kole Tang

I would love to get another wrasse but I am sure it would be overkill with the mandarin already in the tank. I do supplement the tank with pods but am not looking to do it on a more regular basis. Right now the mandarin is fat & I'd like to keep it that way.

Is the above ok or does anyone have suggestions or substitutes. Right now I'm just trying to figure out the final stocking list & have no plans to run out & buy fish tomorrow.

gold assessor would do great. you can always go with a clownfish or two. a fairy wrasse could also do good. i have a green chromis in my tank. he is my favorite fish. just get one of them, because they will kill each other if ample room is not provided.

the kole tang would probably be fine, but watch out for aggression

the Ventrailis Anthias needs a cool water tank.

For what it's worth, a dwarf angel might be worth the risk. Flame angels are coral beauties usually behave well. I can't imagine a tank without an angel.

Agreed on the kole eye - very cool fish.

How many times did I threaten to grab a Chinese food container & wait for your wrasses to get pushed back by the gyre into the container? I still haven't attempted that yet either lol

I have a 65. I really think it's too small for the Kole Tang. I wanted one pretty bad until I saw a full grown one up close and then changed my mind. I have 8 fish, all very small.

Currently:
Pair of clowns
Pair of pygmy filefish
Royal gramma
Possum wrasse
Firefish
Neon goby
Skunk, peppermint, blood shrimp

Planning to add:
Clown Goby (maybe 2)
Court jester goby
Bluegreen chromis

I enjoy having lots of little guys. So I'd say go for the assesor. The captive bred pygmy filefish on diver's den are really cool fish if you haven't considered them. Perfect size for your tank. Eat everything.

i was SO bummed when that fairy wrasse jumped. i really was gonna let you have that one.
