my tangs seem to have them once in a while and as quickly as it comes it goes away...

Mine have had some marks like they when they got bumped hard, either by tring to catch them or while bickering with the other tang. But like it says above they come and go

Mine gets this from time to time and it also goes away. Not sure what it is though???? Does your tang ever get red around his fins? This seems to happen after "the spotting"

I've seen random marks like that on my PBT before. As said, they go away as fast as they appeared.

that is definately a scar. tangs easier get scrapped and bumped because of how fine their scales are. no problem though, it wont effect him/her.
