powder blue tang quarantine

I am just wondering if powder blue tangs are okay with 1.009 hyposalinity.

I am supposed to pick one up tomorrow and I want to make sure he is ick free before putting him in the main tank.

Sure, it will be fine. I would have the tank at a normal salinity upon arrival and then slowly drop it
