Powder blue tang white spot

Hi guys
I bought a pbt a fortnight ago, unfortunately I don't have a QT so was unable to quarantine it. Just the other day I noticed it had white spots on its body, fins and face so I started treating the tank with herbtana. The following morning I checked it and all the spots had cleared. The next again morning they had come back again but only when the tank light is on in the morning. They seem to completely clear up during the day and the fish feeds very well on seaweed which I attach to a veggie clip. Anybody shed any light on this, my other fish don't seem to have any or rubbing against rocks, I am sitting here watching it as I write this and it seems to be swimming about without a care with no spots at all.
Thanks guys hope this makes sense to someone

Ich has a life cycle, it will dissapear off a fish and then come back twice as bad. The only way to really rid it from your tank is to put all your fish in a separate tank and copper treat them and keep your display fish free for 6-8 weeks. Good luck

There is no currently known in-reef treatment remedy for Ich unfortunately. If you dont have coral or inverts, or could remove them for a while, you could attempt Hyposalinity treatment in the DT, while watching ammonia and salinity closely.

Otherwise you will have to remove all fish and treat them via TTM, copper or CP. And leave your DT fallow/fishless for over 72 days.

As stated above, once in your system it will exponentially spread if you do nothing about it.
