yea, they are big tangs... as in 16" adult size. unless the tank they are going in is not in your sig. :) i do schutzhund too. got 4 german shepherds... theytake almost as much time as my tanks :p

oh nice. then i say achilles. although i think a tang more like a purple tang (zebrasoma) will be better. they do not get as long and so will have more swimming rom. but WHO CARES. achilles tangs pwn powder blues any day. you might also add sohal tang to your list. and if you decide to go with a zebrasoma, CHEVRON tang.

yea yea i was thinking tht too. like yea the powder blue is an awsome fish my 2nd favorite i think the achilies tang is a more interesting piece, especialy once it gets its streamers in. so here is my fish list

1 achilies tang
1 flame angel
2 true perc clowns
1 purple dotty back
1 watchman goby
3 lyretial anthias

It will be very difficult to maintain a healthy, happy Achilles in a 110g. The tank isn't big enough and Achilles need a ton of space. For a 110 your best option is a Purple tang as there behaviour is more suitable

The fish do!!!! if nobody else. You can't keep either an Achilles or a sohal in a 110g let alone both.

What is your source for this? I got less than 10" for achilles. For PBT, well, the sizes are all over the place, from 9", to 12", to fishbase at 22" :eek2: Not sure when PBT's suddenly began growing to 2 feet long?

as said before, tank is to small for either one of them, they need a ton of space, I have a powder blue in a 300 gal system, happy & healthy, but even then he gets pushy towards all the other fish....mean!

i think there might be some misunderstanding i dont want to keep a achilies and a sohal tang i just wanna keep an achilies or a pb tang. yes they need a ton of space but there is no fish in the tank that is going to give them problems agressivly. my stock list is not heavey at all so over crowding is no issue here. i think he will be happy as can be

oh, i was joking around with the guy... that's why i recommended a purple tang or chevron tang. both beautiful, but do not get as large.

my source? fish at the LFS. im picking up the smaller of the two, the other one is a massive achilles 16" long.

tank will be to small...they can do well in larger systems, try another tang as said, purple tang, but I have seen purples while scuba diving in the red sea, they get large to, like 10" plus! sohols up to 15"

our LFS here also had the largest achilles i've ever seen... think LARGER than a dinner plate... it was probably about 16 inches also. man it was big
i need to start carrying my camera around. I did get a pic on a cell though. not sure how to get it off of it as its not connected to service now.
