I had an Achilles for five years and it was my all-time favorite fish I have owned. He was in a 6 foot 125 gallon, he came with the tank which came with the previous home we had, he was in there 2+ years before that with the previous homeowner, i.e. he was in 7 + years total. I wouldn't say it was the best sized tank for him, but he did have a fairly long life. IMO based on experience either fish would be highly aggressive in a tank that size, particularly with any new fish. Again, wonderful fish, but they do need big tanks with excellent water and plenty of swimming space.
