Need some help,my new 4inch powder blue tang has been in my 270 gallon reef for 2 days and doesnt eat, tried live brine, seaweed . Any ideas?

Does he pick at rocks? If so try nori rubber banded to a rock.

I'm assuming you didn't QT, which is critical for delicate fish like this, so it's a craps shoot on if it makes it.

Will it eat pellets?

Yeah this is a reason for QT, not only does it keep disease issues out of the tank but it allows your new fish a chance to begin eating in a quiet, peaceful, confined space.
It did take my Powder Brown several days to really begin eating so two days might now be a crisis, but in a 270 you dont have a ton of options except to keep trying and hope for the best.
You might try soaking food in garlic or seachem, sometimes helps entice fish to eat.
Good luck.

Aside from not eating, is the fish behaving normally? Have you seen any flashing, is it breathing heavy, do the colors look washed out etc? What other kind of fish do you have in the tank?
IMO two days is nothing. As long as the fish looks ok I wouldn't panic just yet. GL.
