powder brown surgeonfish experience question

I am not sure which one you are reffering to. I have the Ancanthurus Japonicus..Had him for 2 months. He was beautiful at time of purchase, got ich 1 1/2 weeks later. Treated him and now he has some other funk All the work treating him is worth it, he is an awesome fish. Do qt either for 4 weeks, very prone to ich

I bought one about 8-months ago, the LFS had him in QT and looked great, 2-3 weeks in my tank and he got ick, I treated him and all has been great. He's grown a lot, eats anything I put in the tank. Every time I visit the tank he's always front and center with a look at me attitude. He's been my favorite fish.

I just bought this fish yesterday and am hoping I do not regret my purchase.

I don't think you will regret it, doesn't bother corals, other fish or anything, even my yellow tang and powder brown get along.
