powder brown tang with pot marks

I have a 2"-3" powder brown tang that has pot marks on it's head. It also has a blister looking thing at the back of the left eye. But since I put it in QT, the blister is almost gone. But the pot marks or hole in yhr head has not gotten any better. What is the cause of the pot marks?

Can you post a picture? It sounds like it might be HLLE, but hard to be certain without visual confirmation.
